Three years ago a very tired Cessna 206 arrived from Honduras for a 1000 hour inspection. It had logged over 10,000 hours of operation in a very corrosive environment. We replaced so much of the airframe that the log entry is 14 pages long! Last week the Honduran Civil Aviation Authority issued a temporary Airworthiness Certificate so that the plane could be flown back to Honduras for the inspection that will result in the issuance of the permanent Airworthiness Certificate, and the aircraft's return to mission service.

Below is a video remembering the restoration, and commemorating the return to service flight! The woman in black in the prayer circle is Michele.
